| It's a reference to the large number of Thai students who can't spell their own currency, nothing else. But it does get repetitive after the thousandth time! |

| 'He' [EFL Educator] appears to have an annoying 'catchphrase' for each of the country discussion boards that 'he' appears on.....very little positive to contribute-ever. For the Gulf-and specifically Oman 'he' constantly writes 'Oh man !' on each contribution......everyone must be pissing themselves at the level of wit this person displays..... |

I'm not sure I get the constant reference to "baths." Usually, only non-NES Euro-trash uses "baths," (except for the French), perhaps it's a reference to the "soapy massage" places...all two of them in a Province of 2 million people. I always wondered if it was some kind of paid cheerleader for the dodgy TEFL Training (pay to work) business. Maybe he should write a book on how to get blacklisted from Thailand, because that's what a careless and thoughtless attitude will lead to. I like living here, because I turned 50 and my visa troubles went away. For those, requiring work (likely in education); the paperwork hassles, traffic, low wages are reaching critical mass.

| Thailand is not that safe. Go to YouTube and type in say " Brits Thailand Trouble" and you will see. It's not only the Lager Louts that get badly injured, There are scams that can harm hardcore fun seekers. There are rental scams with the renters having high powered rifles to get money out of supposedly "damaged" equipment. In general even just regular tourists will find it difficult to avoid the nuisance scams that go on there. There are quite a few British tourists killed every year and it generally goes on unreported. I was assaulted and bloodied on Khao San road for simply trying to help a Thai woman being badly beaten. |

If you stay off of motorbikes, don't use Tuk=Tuks, and don't rent Jet-skis; your chances of avoiding pom-poms are pretty good. You could probably add buying illegal drugs, too, but often it is the tuk-tuks doing those scams. A young man died recently in police custody, after s weed buy from a tuk-tuk, who was working for the cops. |

| In Bangkok Tuk Tuks are the lowest of the low, and they frequently do deal and work for the cops. If there is more money in it they will do it. |
