I have an Associate's Degree and a TESOL, only brought a health check from America, and nothing else but invitation paperwork ready to process. Here's a short version of my story. |
Which story? In several of your older threads you clearly state you have a BA.
So much for your credibility. |
Hey, you got me. I looked in to my past threads, and do see I've made this claim. However, it's true that I only have an A.A.
Want pure honesty? I often asked questions under the knowledge that I will soon be finishing my B.A. ...a few semesters left. I felt I would be hassled and didn't deem it too pertinent to state I had an A.A., and I would obviously get very different answers.
Is that terrible of me?
Either way, there's the truth. |

For certain jobs (eg BAE at Dhahran via language Solutions) or in Jubail with the European Centre and you go with the 3-month visa, you only have to get a Basic Disclosure which will not show 'spent' convictions. other companies (especially on the east coast around Damman/Dhahran, i.e. near Bahrain will take you on with a 3-month renewable visa.
We are in same position - mine: driving without insurance in 1994.......will still show up in ACRO and enganced DRB.... |

There is no such thing as a "spent" charge, and anyone who speaks of this is clearly ignorant of U.S. criminal law, and likely of criminal law anywhere. As to employment possibilities, the wild wild east is rapidly becoming less wild but still most employers in China do not look for background checks. |

As for 'no spent' charge - it depends on the level of check.
For British people CRB/DRB plus Disclosure Scotland and Access NI,
basic disclosures do NOT list spent convictions. Basic disclosures are suitable mostly for 'business' or 3-month renewable visas for Saudi.
Other enhanced disclosures, plus ACRO list all convictions - spent or not and ACRO specifically is needed to get a full employment/Iqama visa for Saudi.
