I also have a fatty liver, although nothing was said about it at the time of the ultrasound. The ultrasound did show a cyst somewhere in my abdomen, which was pointed out to me but just "as a matter of interest".

Like another poster, I suffered from hypertension and high blood pressure for which I took medication, and that wasn't a problem. I never had any trouble getting the medication in China, although my doctor at home asked how I could be sure the medication was the real thing.

Like many men of a certain age, I also have an enlarged prostate. No tests were done -- thank goodness! -- in China that would have revealed this.

So my answer to the OP is not to worry.
