I look qualified but assumed my American passport would not help.
I am also a TEAP examiner. TEAP is a test designed by Cambridge and a Japanese organization. It is a CEFR speaking test. |

Nationality wouldn't have had anything to do with it. In Korea more than half the IELTS examiners are North Americans. |

I guess it makes sense, but does that mean the examiner is living on the road, gong around the country, while the BC pay for housing?
Well demand is high so I can see what they are doing. |

Having two parts of the modular DELTA got me DOS positions with companies I'd worked with before as teacher, one of which led to a summer school centre manager job offer.
After I'd done the third part, I got DOS job offers all over the place.
But then..... about one year later I got out of tefl;)
Some friends of mine said that the more DELTA modules they had, the better the teaching jobs they could get around Cambridge. |
