I'm not enjoying this new page at all...
Everytime I try to put in an emoticon, everything gets erased...
This page looks like something out of "Indiana Jones" for god's sake.. |

Okay. Is it just me, or did it go from blues to pastels and back to blues again for everyone?
I kinda liked the pastels I thought I saw for a minute or two.

Mine went from the standard blues to the awful pastels (sorry -- I know some of you liked that one, but I agree with nolefan: it was hard on the eyes) and now it's this psuedo-Indiana Jones thing. Either Dave is really, really bored tonight, or he's punishing us for something.
I don't care about the format, although the "Last Crusade" theme is a rather puzzling choice for this type of forum. Just give me something that's easy to read and has the functions I need...please! |

When I brought up the site, everything looked strange. Once I logged in, it all went back to normal. I think this might be because of the theme I am using (subsilver). If you go to your profile and scroll down, you'll see a place where you can select what theme you want to use. I'm not sure what the default is (esl cafe perhaps?) but subsilver is the standard for phpBB boards.
For those who don't like the changes, you might try a different theme. |

I agree with rj. My theme is subsiilver, and once I log on, the forum looks normal. |

| I logged on this morning, not impressed with the small writing. Now this afternoon it's back to normal. Weird. |

| The colors are very very difficult to get used to. Can we get something less bright? |

I've got mine back to normal now - in the profile section you can choose
subsilver
lastcrusade (ugh!)
eslcafe
"subsilver"'s the one for for me.
How about a forum like this one? |

I, for one, will never get used to the beret. But something tells me that I'm going to have to get used to this new format.
It's all a bit 'Fisher Price' isn't it? Reminds me of the latest AOL software incarnations. I guess that makes it en vogue then! It's definitely "busy", as one poster put it.
Dave, if you're reading this, less 'fluff' and more functionality please ... and the beret ... well ... it's got to go too. |

Okay everyone - you've just proved why Internet Explorer is a waste of space.
Go and get yourselves Firefox by Mozilla and you will see what browsing the web should really be about. No changes here for me - the forum looks as it always has.

For the record, I'm sticking with eslcafe!
It's bright and pretty and makes me feel happy!

You guys, you know, you shouldn't give Dave so much heat because of the beret! I'm sure he's very sensitive about it! |
