| The Peace Corps has (or at least had) a fair number of retirees as volunteers--don't think to many people retire in their 20s. |

| There is no age limit. You just have to pass a pysical. I served in a group with several people in their sixties and even one guy who I think was almost eighty! |

I spent two years in the Peace Corps in Africa. They did not prepare me well, except in language. Technical training was non-existent. They also sent me to a location where they had violence against PCV previously. Sure enough, I was attacked on-site as well.
