To the OP: sounds like youre discovering the joys of travelling light, a strategy that never disappoints. I'd go further & warn against storing boxes of belongings behind -- stuff is an anchor one needs to cut loose to sail free. All the best in your adventures.

Is suzie referring to one of those sweet Turkish delights?

If she's trying to spell a common Yiddish slang expression, she should first learn how to pronounce it and then learn the standards for transliterating Yiddish consonants.
