Hello there

I currently have a degree in Computer Science from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay Ontario Canada. I received it in April 2004. Im currently in Jiaxing teaching english at a private school. If you need any help in the technology area, i can offer you my services for free to help get you on your feet. Good luck on your venture :+)

Thanks a lot! That's a really kind offer and I'll certainly get in touch if we need any technological help.
Thanks also to Burnsie for the info on setting up a foreign company. I believe there are tax advantages to be had in going this route, but I live in China and this will be a Chinese company (with 2 foreign investors/directors, my Chinese wife and another Chinese partner). Our preferred option is to remain independent, but if we don't feel totally confident in being able to look after ourselves, then we'll form an alliance with a larger licensed school.

Realistically, it looks like I won't be making any progress until after the holiday, but one bit of good news to sign off with is that I've secured the start up cash; enough to create a 5 star school (albeit a very small one).

I'll let you all know as soon as I have something worthwhile to report.
In the meantime, thanks again for all your encouragement and useful advice.

Happy holidays Very Happy
