Nah I'm not Turkish, I'm from the 'pool, which gives me all the more reason to support Fener over Man (middle class scum) utd.

Liverland (Bootle), though I was dragged away kicking and screaming at the age of 11, so the old twang has faded a bit.

Your good self ?

I once found around a dozen Wimbledon supporters (out of about 15 total customers) settling down in an Irish bar in Cambridge Mass to watch the Wombles play the Mighty Reds in the League cup a few years back.

How come so many Wimbledeon fans? I asked.

"We're not". Came the reply. "We're ABU!"

and look what happened to Wimbledon...

Bootle?

Surely Everton and not the 'pool? Personally I'm a Saintette and for my niece it's even worse - she's a U's fan - Cambridge Utd...

Reading this thread made me realise I missed out on winding up my Turkish ESOL students:-)

Nah, liverland is officialy part of Bootle, but is really an LFC sepratists zone. I have to support Fenerbahe as a trade off with my wife. When I met her (in London) she was a gunners fan, I told her to support the 'pool and in return I'm a canary through and through.

(cambridge, HA HA, due to and early re-location my youngest sister supports Cheltenham Town)

The rematch is coming up, and it appears that there's still something to play for; MU want top spot; FB want some pride. So, what are your predictions? How many will Roonaldo bag this time? For that matter, will Liverpool be able to qualify? How about he Gooners?

I hate Man. U. In my book they are nearly as bad as Celtic as they both have strong Irish ties. Alex Ferguson is a traitor. Born and bred in Govan? Aye right ye are!
