I bought an oven my first year here. I paid about 130 000yen for it including deliveryand assembly. It was a very big deal (you can't just buy one from the store, you have to make an appointment and the guy comes to inspevt your gas fittings and measure your kitchen and inspect your cabinetry and then they will tell you which kind they will sell you) and it took several weeks from walking into the store with a wad of cash until the first loaf of bread. Well worth it though.
