| One way I think they could find out is by googling their school, and then a thread here could come up. With so few foreign teachers at some schools, I bet its easy for them to figure out who it was. Agreed with above, post at your own risk. |

Two points here: 1) Can Photograffiti get another job in the same city?
The answer is a short "yes!" - under the proviso he gets a release letter stating that he completed his term and contract satisfactorily. As said by someone else, anyone can write such a release letter; the important thing is that he get a chop from the school (difficult if you aren't friends with office staff!). Secondly, he must present it to the PSB for another chop. Then his old visa may be cancelled and a new one can be applied for. This is a procedure analogous to what the PSB do for CHinese nationals wishing to mnove house; in the past they were not allowed to move anywhere without getting the permission from the PSB and neighbourhood committee...
Secondly: Internet security:
We must at all times be prepared to be monitored. It's a fact of life in Socialist Mother China!
I heard from a Singaporean at a private college that when she got into correspondence with a potential new employer her current school got wind of it. How come? Well, if you use school computers then your communications leave traces.
At my place of work, I canNOT access Dave's until late into the afternoon; all I can rewad is posts from the day before... This has nothing to do with the time difference. I believe our server has a firewall or a filter that screens our communications, and it probably polices some foreign websites. Sometimes I cannot access certain websites although others are easily accessible... |
