I think you need to choose carefully when deciding on a masters program. I already had 9 years of teaching experience before I embarked on a masters, so I was looking for something more theoretically based. USQ fits that. USQ does offer a practicum component if you like, I don't need it.
It also sounds like Ben's masters was on campus, so this is much easier to have a more practical application to the degree. That is the biggest drawback to distance masters IMO, but if you don't think you need a teaching practicum to your degree, then it doesn't matter. |

I hope you're joking. Suggestopedia is like a theatre play with Freudian counselling. Students need a little backbone and be told what is right and wrong. |
