Yes, God please come. It's Club Med here everyday and everynight. You won't regret it. Life is cheap, everything is cheap, and I am cheap. It's a wonderfully rewarding experience that you can tell the children when you get old. The celestial heavens await for you here, and your foreigness, including your bag, will open up the Gates of Heavenly Peace.
A few things of note:
1. China is an immaculately beautiful place.
2. You can drink the water right out of the tap.
3. You can get rich here teaching.
4. Your students will be the smartest beings you have ever faced.
5. Your accommodations will be surprising modern and they are usually accompanied with a hot tub jacuzzi.
6. The people are friendly and fair in their business practices.

Above all, if you bring the kids, the Chinese children will socialize with them, invite them on picnics and campouts, and generally make the children feel right at home.

Having stated these things, come with a great heart and a great attitude. China awaits you for its 5000 year history. Make it your jubilee.

Tao Burp - you are awesome!

Although you forgot to mention how genuinely stimulating and professionally rewarding the teaching assignments are.

BUT;
1. You'll be stared at like nothing you could ever imagine.
1. You'll draw crowds wherever you go.
2. Crowds will gather at the front of the restaurant where you're dining just to stare at you eating.
3. The 'country' people are very uncouth (spitting, pushing & shoving, getting on buses with their chickens/ ducks/eels) and they have a distinct body odour.
4. There will be virtually no entertainment. In many of the smaller cities, you won't even be able to get CCTV9 English language TV channel and DVDs are very limited in selection.

Sounds like similar to Beijing but the star only for 30 seconds not the full 5 minutes in the country and at least you can talk some english.

A funny thing about China is that it ATTRACTS people who WANT to complain, so they come here, well aware it's a 3rd world country , then act SURPRISED and COMPLAIN that it's 3rd world.

Perfect for old dust filled bags
