My girlfriend works beside Neusoft in the Software Park in Dalian. Neusoft is surrounded by multinational companies: IBM, GE, Accenture, etc.... There were no water problems in this area except for the Neusoft school. What does that tell you????

yeah, during the water outages, we we told by the international office that the water was out in the ENTIRE software park.
Of course we knew better, cause we know people working for those software companies you (GMAT) mentioned, and of course they said they had water.
we went to see 'The Dalian Administration for Foreign Expert Affairs' at 3pm. They rang Neusoft, and our water was back on at 5pm.
I suspect Neusoft had the option of dishing out cash for a quick fix OR having their hired farmhand/prison-worker labour force fiddle with the valves and gaskets for a few days till the water came back. |
