You can make these sweeping generalizations about the youth of any nationality. A few bad apples spoil the barrel, etc.

I feel sorry for all the places for the above reasons. But can you imagine the poor Balinese? Imagine a place whose economy depends on catering to people who go there to get completely drunk and behave pretty atrociously while completely ignoring the local culture?

Again, not everyone, but enough to be more than worthy of mention.

Fair point about English yobs abroad, but London has its fair share of aussie idiots too...

I do agree with the thread-starter that it isn't really racism. Australians are largely descended from Brits, so are mostly of the same race - although of course Australia has become a lot more multiracial of late.
