You came here to defend Buxiban. I distrust your credibility because your posts on Dave's are so limited...ususally your posts are designed to push an anti-teacher agenda, pro profit-making school agenda.
You are like the other one hit posters at Dave's...recruiters pretending to be teachers who post how great a school and that other teachers should come work there. They only post when they want to scan someone. |
Yet another assumption! Just for the record, I have numerous posts on Daves, but as I stated in my original post here, I normally haunt the Taiwan forum. I didn't come here to promote the buxiban site. I came here to attempt to put the points raised by others about the site into what I consider some kind of fair perspective.
In answer to your suggestion - I am not a recruiter. First you suggest that I must be getting paid by buxiban, then you seem to be suggesting that I am a recruiter of some sort. Personally, I would think that Buxiban would be a recruiters worst nightmare so I doubt that a recruiter would recommend you check out the site. Is it so difficult to accept that I am just an ordinary guy who happens to like the site?
Anyway, I have had my say, and as you say you are entitled to yours. Let's leave it at that shall we.
I agree with a lot of what the majority seem to be suggesting in that it is a useful resource for teachers, and that it will become even more useful if everyone pitches in.
In answer to the person who posted that there is little China related information on the site at present, I agree with this too. Maybe you guys can change that. As I said earlier I have added my bit to the Taiwan side of the site, let's see what others can post for China |

| Regardless of the issues raised earlier, having more information out there for teachers to look at is generally a good thing, not a bad one. The site seems to be reputable enough in Taiwan that plenty of people have posted their information on it, perhaps it's time Mainlanders gave it a chance, (although personally I'd appreciate it if you also paid a visit to my own place). |
