Guy, Guy, Guy, British calls four of us 'trash" - that would be against the form rules, too.
And this post is not 'Job-related' so it should be removed or moved.

But that's okay...a poseur posting claptrap is entertaining.

Cheers!

What:.

The tsunami battered Sri Lankas southern and eastern coastlines, causing heavy damage to houses, hotels and commercial buildings and devastating the countrys fishing industry.

The Sri Lankan government estimates it will need between $1.3 billion and $1.5 billion to rebuild.

"I hate when a country lies to the world just to get more money when in the first place most people live in poor build homes".

"Don't worry Sri Lankan the British grovenment will pay".

Sri Lanka, by contrast, closed scores of refugee camps as people began drifting back to their damaged homes. With 38 more confirmed deaths, the nations death toll stood at 30,718.

Jeff Taft-Dick, WFP country director in Sri Lanka, said that was a critical milestone because there is now enough food around the country to feed everyone who needs it.

He said the agency has now dispatched enough food in Sri Lanka to help feed 750,000 people there for 15 days.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes because all the Aid went to Sri Lanka first.

The Aid didn't need to feed all the country.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Morris said the agency was feeding 150,000 people in Indonesia and expected that to increase to 400,000 within a week and possibly reach as high as a million eventually.

About 13,000 U.S. servicemen are now in Indonesia and surrounding seas, along with 10 ships and more on the way, the U.S. Navy said Saturday. The U.S. military says it is incurring $5.6 million a day in operating costs. = how could America think about Money in a time like this.

Poor Indonesia it's a shame so many there died and made homeless.

"How can America think of money in (sic) a time like this"?

Quote:
The sum donated by Americans after the tsunami which took more than 147,000 lives, mainly in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and Thailand is still much smaller than the $2 billion raised for the families of the nearly 3,000 people killed in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

I still don't believe that it was terrorism on 9/11 it was to make people believe it was.

Encouraged by President Bush, who made a $10,000 personal donation and declared that "the most important contribution a person can make is cash," = whats $10,000 to you Bush?.

I don't know, but YOU seem to have no problem talking about money at a time like this. Rolling Eyes

If you don't care about money, why did you bring it up? You just report it? Are you a journalist? What medium? You are talk (sic) about the news on MSNBC or NBC or both?
And you don't believe 9/11 was an act of terrorism? What was it?

And you don't believe 9/11 was an act of terrorism? = NO". What was it? = it had something to do with the CIA.

Just like the killing of the JFK. just to go to war.

But this time it was the price for oil.

I see British, so the CIA intentionally killed 3,000 human beings on 9/11 so the U.S could go to war w/Iraq?

Interesting, the Moderators on this forum constantly warn us against name-calling, but ridiculous allegations are free to fly!

More news.

Group with alleged links to al-Qaida gives out food.

BANDA ACEH, Indonesia - An extremist Islamic group with alleged links to al-Qaida has set up a relief camp in the tsunami-stricken Aceh province on Sumatra island, raising concerns its fiercely anti-American members could stir up sentiment against U.S. and Australian troops helping to distribute aid.

The group, Laskar Mujahidin, posted an English-language sign at the camp that reads, Islamic Law Enforcement. Its members said Thursday they have been collecting corpses, distributing food and spreading Islamic teachings among refugees.

The presence of the group, known for killing Christians during a long-running sectarian conflict in another part of Indonesia, generated fears that U.S. military personnel and others involved in relief work could become a terror target.

the world only wants to Help

Great so when do these people get peace?.

I don't know what british believes, but this poster believes that the US government DID kill 3,000 people in the Twin Towers in order to go after Iraq's oil and to try to put a pipeline across Afghanistan to Pakistan. It was a typical case of "the end justifies the means" thinking.

More to the point, it is my perfect right to believe that. As it is the right of anyone else with the same belief. That it doesn't coincide with the US propaganda about the event matters absolutely zip to me.

You're absoultely right...glad I wasn't on the receiving end of the trash labeling, or I would have had to issue a reminder to the Brit as well. Get it?

Poseurs posing posers is positively preposterous. We need Powell in here to get the source.

I didn't get in trouble w/Guy. I apologized to him for being a jerk. You make ridiculous claims based on nothing and call it poking? There are plenty of hand-holders on this Forum who will cradle you regardless of what you post, however, I am not one of them.
