AARGH ! I was spared that abomination ! I grew up when "real coffee" was coming back after rationing. Did not sample Turkish though until I got to the successor states of the Ottoman Empire.
I am now happily working in one and domiciled in another. No more Nescafe, Camp, Espresso or Capuccino for me sir ! |

My favourite coffee is Cuban. It's pure rocket fuel: two cups and you're ready for a half-marathon, a four-hour class with 40 hyperactive teenagers and a night of carnal pleasure. It's also a grand restorative after a few Mojitos. |

I recently bought Vietnamese filter coffee in the spice bazar in Istanbul. I get to work well early. |
