BAE say that they want an MA. From what I hear they also administer a test to determine whether you are brain-dead.

So I guess with such a high salary that the jobs with BAE are very competative? Sorry that this sounds like a stupid question but I don't know anything about working in the Middle East.

You don't need an MA to work in Dhahran. Have a look at their ad in TEFL.com:

http://www.tefl.com/jobs/job.html?jo_id=15447

To teach at the Technical Studies Institute you must be a native English speaker under the age of 55. As well as having a minimum of three years recent experience teaching English as a foreign language, preferably in the Middle East, successful applicants must possess an MA / MSc in TEFL / TESP / TESOL / Applied Linguistics OR an English Degree and a TEFL / TESOL qualification OR a related degree and PGCE and a TEFL / TESOL qualification OR a related degree and RSA DELTA. We do not accept any other qualifications.

At the King Faisal Air Academy in Riyadh, we require native English speaking instructors under the age of 55 with an absolute minimum of 5 years experience in teaching language in an Arabic-speaking country. Your proven track record must be supported by equally impressive qualifications, including either a BEd with teaching practice and English as a specialist subject, or a BA in English or Modern Languages supported by a postgraduate teaching course or an RSA Diploma in TEFL.

In addition to your degree gained from a recognised university in a native English speaking country you must have an MA in Applied Linguistics, TESL or TEFL.
