I took the time to skim back through Julieanne's posts, and there is a very definite trend: she bad-mouths just about everything and everybody except this shape-shifting placement service.
That makes me feel that either the service is hers, or that she's getting a cut from the sign-up fees.
I hope, of course, that I am wrong about this unethical behavior. |

If there was nobody to state they got a job with them, you would say aha nobody has claimed to get a job through them , and if somebody says they did, well then it is she must work for them.
I personally went through a few very expensive agencies all resulting in low paying jobs until I met Alison through a friend, so my passion is because Mexico is a place with a lot of scams but when there is not one it should not be crucified especially when there is no proof. I am showing you proof and you are dismissing me. Incredible!!! |

That is what I was hoping too, but she seems to be proving otherwise. She continues to make my point about this being a questionable operation. I don't believe many of us were born yesterday as she seems to believe (said in a non-agressive manner
If they want to use Dave's to promote this kind of stuff, then they must be prepared to answer questions when things don't add up. (Such as "accidentally" taking money for a non-existent exam, give me a break!) If all the money had to be returned in that original money grab, then wonderful, since I am sure it was as a result of questions on this forum. How will we ever know if that is the case? What's next?
I also note that she says this firm got HER a job. I assume that means they found her a job teaching English, since that is what they claim to do. Her reading comprehension and writing ability seem somewhat lacking to be an English teacher or even a native speaker. This person has definitely not been a regular contributor to the forum, and posts only in defence of this operation, whatever it is called at the time. I too, have come to the conclusion that she is one of the company |

In none of her posts has she contributed any information that would lead one to believe that she is a teacher, that's true. So perhaps the job she is referring to is that of a shill for the company. |

That is because I am the Senior Curriculum Administrator for a Primary and Secondary school. I suppose that job is not good enough.
Samantha I have come to the conclusion you must be the competition. |

Julieanne, What competition? We still haven't figured out what it is you and yours REALLY do yet with these ever changing websites and names and claims. Anyone "in competition" with you will be happily rubbing their hands together after reading all your posts.
At one point you claim you work for this company and at another point you claim you don't. My favorite post of yours to date is where you advise forum readers applying for the jobs advertised, not to mention seeing the job ad on Dave's because of the controversy surrounding the $20.00 test fee fiasco.
In just rereading only a couple of your past posts it becomes clear that Moonraven may be on the right track. This post copied below speaks for itself. Incidentally, the program you talked about in this post disappeared from the website shortly thereafter as well.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyone who is living anywhere in Mexico right now, must join English Canada Teacher Affiliate Program. It is really amazing. Go to there Home Page www.engcanada.com and you will see the program posted there. The great thing is that you can make double the amount that you usually do for company classes. Feel free to write me to find out all the ins and outs |

Nice try Julieanne! You obviously have not refreshed yourself on contents of your previous posts.
This IS the site where the big fat jobs and pay $20.00 for the fake test WERE listed not all that long ago. There is still a list of supposed job reps buried in that site. Ooops. You also noted Alison as a contact using an Engcan email address at one point. Don't take my word for it...Reread your past posts. These two sites have everything to do with each other. It smells more rotten each time you post. |

Nope I am sorry, Alison used to work there as a teacher and then developed her own recruiting, she also recruited for that school. Now she has no affiliation with that school.
The test was not for this school but for a primary school that wanted a group of teachers whom had already received jobs tested for English and Spanish levels, and the testing was done through that school, the post was never meant for Daves site, as I said everything was refunded, all 5 people.
The Teacher Affiliate Program on that site, there was no charge for it and that was done by that school. It was for teachers already in Mexico. It is not there anymore because the positions are filled.
We all know each other as we are all teachers living in Monterrey. Is there a crime in that? |

Please use caution out there before sending money anywhere. You can soon determine the legitimate companies because they will supply references and actually communicate with you prior to asking for money. Having someone come on the forum in a quick attempt to defend something as strange as this situation was, does not count as a reference.
These are Julieanne's various explanations of this particular scheme noting that she claims to have nothing to do with this company. It was not an email sent out, as she states. The reality is, it was an impressive job ad referring us to a website promising multitudes of unusually high- paying jobs, but asking for $15.00, $20,00 or $35.00 for a "government Spanish test" before they would accept resumes or consider applications. Emails went unanswered. Red flags immediately went up on the forum, which luckily put a halt to this not-very-clever scheme.

I even spoke with the Director about all of this and she informed me it was a draft e-mail that was supposed to go to people already placed and unfortunately went to people applying. |

The test fee was for people renewing their contract |

I am not going to get into the details about the Government test, but in short anybody from this forum that paid for it was returned their money. |

I repeat: It's a crock, and Julieanne should not be spewing it on this forum, nor harrassing legitimate posters with her infantile defensive antics. |
