I only know that in the 4 months I've been here, I've been paid on the 15th. The payslips have a breakdown of salary and they're always for the month before. I'm relatively new though, and I don't know details on when anything is settled/processed/finalized. Can one of the more experienced teachers shed some light on this?

sorry...

I didn't read this thing thoroughly.

Anyways, I haven't made a budget yet.. yikes... but I totally blew $600 on I dont even know... combo of food, transportation and randomness. Thank god I get paid on the 25th.

I am currently living in Osaka.. I suggest you bring backup money. it's important you dont want to get screwed on rent.

With internet, cellphone, rent, gas, electricity, water, phone line.. I don't even know how much is dissapearing. I think I will do that tonight.
