Yeah- I met quite a few teachers (non Brits) who were working there on a freelance basis- mainly Americans though
I worked in both Agouza and Heliopolis but found the Heliopolis branch to be better- less stressful, more relaxed, easygoing... |

Of course Heliopolis is the baby of the two. I was dismayed recently to find the BC offering temp summer jobs in both branches for less than they were offering when I was there in summer 99.
It really is pathetic. The students pay a fortune and the BC boasts about its professionalism yet pays peanuts to the temp and summer teachers. There is a recruitment crisis in most BC centres and that is because pay has stagnated for years. |
