I dont think I'd be making a career of TEFL.... I am very eager to see the world, and experience other cultures. I dont want to be stuck in a career in the US, be successful, but not truly happy. Now is the only time I wont have kids/husband/serious ties to the US.
So I say - GO FOR IT! If it does become my career, I can always come back to the US and get a degree right? |

Yes, of course you can always go back and get that degree. However, at 22 it will be easier now than ever. What if you meet that fantastic guy, what will you do? Bring him back to the States for 4 years or hope he waits? Have a family and then get a degree?
Believe me I know how hard it is to study and have a family. I got my bachelors after HS and now I am doing my masters at 34 and it is far harder now.
Few people start a bachelors later on in life, possible of course, but it is more difficult. |
