I'm very happy with my job at the moment... A bit similar to Canuck ... I work in a co-ed senior high with three classes a day (on one day, I teach 4) and probably work somewhere in the vicinity of 150 days a year. I don't team teach either. The students and Japanese teachers are really cool (the other foreign teacher is a complete @$$hole unfortunately) ...

The school is great too, but I would be lying if I didn't say that the best thing about this job is simply the large amount of paid vacation. Like everyone, I love travelling so that gives me the opportunity. I'm about to head off to Bulgaria and Turkey for the summer! YAY!

Same here. Private, recently co-ed senior high.

14 lessons a week, down from 19 last year. Live nearby and break at the crib, often.

Coach hoop, play tennis, mega paid holidays and get to B.C. annually, Oz from next year.

Must endure knuckle-head kids, minor detail considering all the plusses.

Off to La Cote d'Azur for 3 weeks soon, visiting family. Who has the record for most trips on one multiple re-entry permit? Going on 4.

Wish I could crack the housing nut, unbelievable the monthly expenses.

Oh no, don't do that! We'll all be out of jobs.

Oh no, talkers need to learn too, so the rumours go.
