I have no idea where you are from, snielz, but at least on U.S. university diplomas and transcripts such a term as concentration does not exist.

Umm...yes it does.

I went to a public, well-known U.S. University and in certain degree there are "concentrations". You dont have to use it, or rather matttheboy doesnt, if you dont want to. But it does exist.

Why not name that well-known public institution so that I can check its website? Or why not include the link?

That would be very civil of you. Probably I am asking too much.

I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa. My transcripts (not my degree) show that I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree with two majors, one of which is Spanish with a concentration in Latin American Studies. When I was a student there more than ten years ago (They have since changed their language degrees--for the better) they had 4 concentrations or "tracks" in the Spanish major. Latin American Studies, Spanish (from Spain) literature, Linguistics, and Secondary Education (to be a high school Spanish teacher).

My degree on the other hand simply states that I hold a Bachelor of Arts.

Since this is a betting situation, it's up to YOU to show that those figures are off base, and that a middle class actually exists.

Start by doing an Internet search.

Because his nickname is "The Duck", Andy Roddick feels a kinship with birds like Moonraven. He's gone and done the research for her. Andy says, "Vanderbilt offers 'concentrations', Moonraven. Looks like you just got served ..."

Andy says, "Here are some links to just three majors that have 'concentrations'. Almost all the others liberal arts majors include concentrations as well. Don't make rude statements to Snielz when you have no idea what you're talking about ... it brings shame to us birds."

How did that google search go?

By the way, that kick you gave Chazz on the way out the door just for good measure was a nice move. It was clever the way you were able to think of a way to take your own mistake, accusing him of being someone he/she may not be on suspect grounds, and making it seem like it was his fault. I know you claim to be a political speech writer, the thing I question is for whom because that type of move is what I had grown accustomed to in the US with the Bush-team.

I really could not care less. I gave that churl, MatttheBoy, the information that I had in regard to his original question. I will offer no further help, as it is not appreciated.
