Maybe do a google search on Footprints Recruiting? They're a group based in Canada and they send teachers to Asia, South America and Africa.
I know a Latvian girl with an MBA who went to that province to teach last year. They found her a great job for her experience and her English has actually improved since teaching.
Speaking as a former music teacher turned EFL/ESL teacher, I think you should go for it! TEFL is pretty awesome when you're in a good place.

I just read this thread and checked Google for their website - http://www.footprintsrecruiting.com
However they state:
Footprints Recruiting offers free ESL teacher placement services to native English speakers from around the world.
But perhaps they do make exceptions?
As this thread is already a few months old, I guess Sarah has found a job in the meantime ...? |
