Its pretty clear that what the poster did was stupid, but lets have some compassion. There's no telling how old the poster is, how sheltered a life he's led or how much of a nightmare he's in right now. The title of the post is wrong, but a lot of scared people in a crisis react by pointing the finger. Imagine making this mistake and having to deal with this problem early into your overseas teaching career? Going home is defeat and staying looks to be impossible.
Does the Hoser have money?
Where are you?
How long have you been here?
If anyone has some real advice the right thing to do is give it.
Stay away from that ledge Hoser. |

Man!
I am having a real hard time wrapping my head around the idea that Nova charges each teacher for the price of the whole apartment. Yes, I understand the idea of convenience and so on, but to charge each employee is unbelievable. Just one 65000 yen rent would cover Nova's expenses for the whole apartment and then some. This I know because I am privy to the amounts that it costs a company to provide such a service. This has to be Nova's worst scam of all. Even more so than the infamous "health insurance" scandal.
Truly unbelievable |
