I'm getting hungry...

I like almost all Japanese food. Oden and natto are notable exceptions.

I was tempted to make an XXX-rated comment, but I'll restrain myself.

- Maccha milk kakigori from Sugakiya.

- Osaka style okonomiyaki (2 small okonomiyaki with a fried egg in the middle, it's like a okonomiyaki burger!)

- Yoshinoya's gyudon (BSE sucks)

- cold soumen

- miso katsu from my area (Ichinomiya, Aichi)

- kaki manjyu from my area (my area is famous for miso katsu & manjyu)

- katsudon

- takoyaki

- steamed kobocha

- toro mayo onigiri

- kinoko omrice or with a burger & gravy~mmmmm

- hijiki with tuna & mayo salad

- seafood thin crusted pizza

- that red fish with big eyes...you eat them salted & dry. Really good with rice!

man, I'm making myself hungry...I think I really like to eat in general Very Happy

I don't remember what they were called but I loved those places where you had a grill in the middle of your table and you got fresh meats and/or seafood to grill with soy sauce. What are those places and that style of cooking called?

Yakiniku restaurant. The ones where the chef cooks the meat in front of you on a hot plate is teppanyaki.
