I hear you!
Meetings with the family are much more rigid than back home, everyone uncomfortably sitting around with a plate(with TOO much food) on their lap and a cup of tea.
Me miss relaxed backyard bbq with no one flapping their arms above the grill. Ya gotta throw some GA YUS on that thar sucker bar bee Q!! Eye brows are for burning off, don't ya know?
Culture clash, ain't it grand?
I can't say which way is better-theirs or ours-but it can be a bit rough having to do soooo many things differently than one is used to. |

i worked in Keşan ( close to Edirne) for a year and worked in some places in Edirne.I know how things work there-not alot to do , people's social life is going to kiraathanes( kinda cafes where just men go) or to birahanes... Do you know Trakya is famous with the amount of alcohol consumed?
but you know what i say " anywhere is better than Istanbul and enjoy living there"
*someone changed the keyboard at home and i cant find where the exclamation mark is |

True. I have also heard they are the alcohol champs, but obviously just the guys.
Keşan? You DID do hard time, I think. That place is small, isn't it? |

We got snowed into Kesan for three days four years ago on our way back from Truva. Three days were plenty for Kesan. How on earth did you manage an entire year ? |
