Thanks to the recent posters about my issues. I have been watching and seeing what others think.

Since the discussions here it has clarified many points with my wife, talked about some of the comments here and resolved many of my thoughts and ideas as well as my wife's.

I have yet to make the decision. My wife is actually for this to occur but I have given myself this week to make it - though I don't think I can, but it will have to be soon.

The thought of leaving has also opened my eyes to what will be lost and what will be gained by my absence.

If I do leave then I hope to be back within 1-2 years (and I hope on a reasonable expat package) which will enable both myself to have a better meaning here and my wife with security to be able to pursue her business interests.

If my wife's business turns for the better within this time enabling me to return then I will be able to do so.

Previously when I have come to some 'crossroads' (so to speak) things have changed for the better without having to take the course of action. I hope this will happen.
