i am obviously not a doctor. i havent got a degree from a medical faculty just a degree in physics, MA and PCD ( Preliminary Certificate in Dentistry), i have been prescribing medicines and treating people's injury especially the backache and neckache What is my job? Do you want to send your kids to me when they are ill? |

You can't compare being a doctor and being a tefler. If a doctor or dentist makes a mistake at work it could be a matter of life and death. The biggest mistake a tefler is likely to make at work is pushing the wrong button on the photocopier. |

yeah but with degrees and certicifates. we dont need many and ours have been here for at least 3 or 4 years |

teachers can teach someone the wrong thing. incorrect grammar, pronunciation, cultural norms etc. a native speaker EFL teacher could be a poor representative for their home country. teachers can be real creeps and mess with students heads. but i think some of the academic education baloney they make us study in teacher training is pretty pointless up against classroom teaching experience. |
