what does EF stand for? I'm just learning about all this. Sorry.

Very nice going Transvaal as well as fairly descriptive I might add.

Wayne, EF also stands for English First, though the ambitious Shanghai's EF English First Head Office has officially put "English First" next to EF, took over its management and craved to rule the market in China as well as Worldwide. The EF education (not English First) and its centers differ in their objectives and management.

It was not until late September 2002 that I was appointed acting DoS by the second center manager, the one whom I have invariably described in previous posts as "a control freak", as he thought he could basically run the whole school by himself and relegate me and my position to virtual unimportance. This lasted until September 2003, so the school certainly managed to save the investors a lot of money between May 2002 and September 2003 as it had no proper DoS for sixteen months![/quote]

What are you complaining about? If the center manager was such a control freak, it must have made your job easier. mean, he does all the work, you still pick up the same paycheck.
