Simon,
When are you planning on doing this runner? Stop worrying too much, there will be no consequences afterwards. Although it will reflect badly on you with the students the boss is not going to chase you. They are not even going to know where you are. Thats the point of the runner! Even if you have a valid contract, there is not much that your boss will do. The contracts in China don't seem to be worth anything, employer and employee seem to break them easily without any hassles. So do the runner and good luck with it!! |

| Roger the PSB has nothing to do with contracts and legaly binding goverment approve contracts are only legal if the institution is contracting teachers with proper paperwork and licences.(it is time to stop trying to scare the kiddies).otherwise the view of chinese courts is that it wouldnt have happen in the first place if all parties do not meet the basis for legal contracts...thus a tolet paper contract would be not be legal because it is not approve.....has no stamp...is not official..would never have taken place because the school has no authority to instigate a contract... |

Please, plead your ignorance in the appropriate forum, wherever that is; any contract between a foreign national employee and a Chinese employer is handled by the PSB who also accept the duty to safeguard said foreign residents in China. |

There is no stamp on the contract. It was typed up and issued by the school using Microsoft Word.
The word "should" can be found all over.
Glad to hear all the intellegent posts. I am very glad i started up another thread.
Everything is in order. |
