Next week I'll have more details on location and more housekeeping notes.

Cheers

Ok guys.
First thing due to my personal work agenda I have conflicting dates for next weekend, since I'll be out of the city.
So we'll have to reschedule the Asado.

Final Date: October 16th. (Sunday)
Gathering Point: TBD
Time: 10:00am
Location: S.E.T. (Ezeiza) Near the airport.
The place is big, it has woods, tennis courts, soccer field, trails, basquet court, and many other things.
Transportation: I can arrange transportation up to 24 people.

Housekeeping notes

Meat: I'll buy it and then we split the cost.
Location: Rental fee we'll split it.
Ice: I'll get it.
Beverages, side dishes, desserts to be brought by the attendees, just post what will you bring so we don't get stuck with half a ton of salad or 30 dozens of chocolate chip cookies.

We are planning in having mate during the afternoon so I'll bring along some cookies for that too.

Bring your plate, fork, knife, glass.

Clothes, as comfortable as you can, jeans, snikers, etc.

If it rains we'll do it anyways.

I'm sure I am forgetting something but for now that'll be all, so dateline to confirm is October 8th.
If you think about anything else please feel free to PM or e-mail me.

If it's on October 16th, you can count me in.

I'll be bringing one person with me. So I guess that's ...

Sheena.
10am is the gathering time, figure it'll take us 40 minutes to get to the place that'll put us at 10:40 at the club. But of course we can start later.
Guys please let me know what time works best for all of you.
The money issue. I don't know how do you get paid, but I think we're talking between $30 to $40, (between 10-13 USD).
Just let us know if you want to come, if so, we'll find a way to accomodate you.

vivaBarca
Do you mind tracking mattheboy?

Transportation
I am figuring that none of you have a car so unless you have one or somebody to drive you, don't need to let me know if you require transportation.
I've booked a 24 seats minibus. We should be fine with that but if more people come we can get a bigger bus.

Cheers

Hi,

Silly question.... Are we allowed to drink alcohol in public places?? I mean, I see people do it all the time, but if I wanted to mix a drink or have a cold one at the asado, would it be OK? Or should I share the carton with the guy on the corner to get my fix?

citruscinders,
Drink is allowed all the way during tha asado.
As a matter of fact we "asado makers" have a little ceremony and, while the meat is on the grill we'll start off wiht some cheese, salami, pringles, olives and a vermouth "Gancia".

So I figure you should be more than fine wiht a cold one.

One last thing, do not bring wine in carton, please!!!! don not do that!!!

Have a good one!

Well if it's not too late to get in on this (i've been away and really busy recently...) then it'd be good to come along with my girlfriend...meat and beer is something i can never turn down. Nice molina campos btw the gauchito, one of my favourites that one.

How fortunate about the change of date... I'm arriving later this week.

I'll be there, and I'll be bringing my roomate so put me down for 2.

Thanks for doing the organizing Gauchito... much appreciated.

Housekeeping
I forgot to ask for tableclothes, the setting will be one large table, I'll bring one platic tablecoth, but it will not be enough, if we can get 2 or 3 more, we should be fine.

Cheers!
