Doga Okullari (Doga Schools) is not an ESL school. They have Kindergartens and Primary and Secondary schools. The management also owns ESL schools, perhaps that is why they believe they don't need resources. Sometimes there isn't paper at the school for as long as a week.

The parents are being cheated. They pay close to 10000usd and there is no educational system and few resources. Like Molly wrote, they have a beautiful campus with horses and other animals. However, there is no educational system and very little money is invested in basic educational resources.

Doga is cheating the parents out of their money. A sucker is born everyday! Doga is a ruse, a deception, a device to get money from people without giving them the service that was promised.

...good science and math education is based on good resources, good teaching and hard work. the human and social sciences can get away with less resources because they are language-based disciplines, however the fewer resources a teacher has at hand the longer the preparation time.

The main problem with lacking resources in the language-based disciplines is that it usually means that the materials used in class are taken from the internet or from a hard copy against copyright. When I worked at English Time they were pirating Cambridge University Press materials and Cambridge Press learned about it. Although I was unwittingly involved in infringing against Cambridge copyrights, I still decided I had to quit because I didnt want to ruin my reputation with the publisher's representatives.

Besides, I didn't want to break the law so that the owner of English Time could increase profits.

Come on, what is wrong with you all?

Where are the slavish replies like:

Emphasise your professionalism.

A good teacher does not need resources.

Being negative gets you nowhere .. roll your socks up and crack on .. if you're not going to give it your best shot, put your weapon away ...

... a friend once had to teach basic rocket science with nothing but a twig and a washing up bowl full of sand ... with a few effects like 'zoom zoom ... kaboom' and a shake of the head he said he thought they got the hang of it ... they made some great rocket models out of dried mud at the end of the semester anyhow ...
