The Callan Method
This is a method of teaching English to people who wish to learn English super fast. The Callan method claims to teach English 5 times faster than the traditional method. It is a series of about 7 books. Both you and the student work from the same book. The book has a list of vocab, then answers and questions based on the new vocab. The students study these questions and answers and then you go into a lesson, ask them to close their books and you ask them the same questions and check their pronunciation.
Its easy, really easy but crazily boring.
Their is a Callan website, google it, I think its callanmethod.co.uk.
Any more questions ask....
Good luck in Poland. It gets seriously cold there. I got chronic bronchitis last March when I was there...

Hey Gerr,

Just in reference to something you said earlier;

We made a deal with both schools to provide us with free Polish lessons.

Is this a fairly easy arrangment to make with potential employers?
I'd like to learn the language to a fairly competent level wherever I end up going (although Poland is high on the list at the moment) so free lessons would be fantastic!

Thanks for any info,

Marianne
