Aw, er, no need for thanks but I gues it kind of goes for anything online nowadays. So many people are out to do mischief, and it's all too easy. That's why people are a bit guarded.
Interesting snippet: one programmer I taught wrote a spam filter that worked purely on the percentage of mis-spelled words in an email and how close they were to being correctly spelled. (think of the spam you get containing words like med1cat1ons etc.)
It filtered spam really well, but also rejected half the emails sent to him from his American colleagues  |
