Please note - the last two messages were posted on the same day(5th Jan) and both writers joined the day before (on the same day - 4th Jan.) That is, nearly three weeks after the original thread was posted. Dodgy ?

Also note the use of English from native english teachers.

This could all be put down to coincidence. I leave readers to draw their own conclusions.

The original poster of this thread seems to cause strife wherever he goes whether it be Russia or the Middle East.

I was the (Australian) Director of Studies and a teacher at the American Language Center in Khormaksar, Aden for all of 2004. The staff were family to me, the students were wonderful and Yemen was the adventure of a lifetime. We had the occasional maladjusted loser come and work for us, of course, and they were dealt with accordingly but never unfairly. ALC always lived up to its contractual agreements, and did nothing illegal. Period.

When I'm free to return to ALC and Yemen I will, and I urge anyone else thinking of working for this wonderful little school to take the opportunity.

Anyone who has experience in the ESL teaching world will understand that all schools occasionally get a 'mishap teacher' who blows around a lot of hot air after their 'true colors' are exposed.

The person who started this thread was one of them. He joined American Language Center in the summer of 2005. Just months before coming to ALC he worked at 'Sochi London School' in Russia. If you do a quick internet search by simply typing in 'Sochi London School Russia Thomas Fitzpatrick' you will find that he has plastered the exact same ill-treatment accusations about this school over dozens of ESL teaching sites.

Also if you take a quick look at ALL of his other postings on Dave's you will note that ALL of them are negative.

And by the way, the registration for Dave's was closed for new users until just a few days ago, otherwise we would have replied earlier.

Thanks Devante. I 'll contact ALC to see if there is a vacancy for May.

You are right eyeswideopen! I was tring to reply before but the registration was closed till January 2006. I read Fitz's posting about the Russian school it's really hard to belive! It seems to me that he is sick and very negative person and like to cause problems everywhere he goes.He should be put in the black list.
