Thanks for that.

A strong impression about Bali work opportunities has been made ie, there aren't any. Surabaya has grasped my interest as alternative.

Incidently I hold an Advanced Diploma in Commercial Photography, I'm currently studying HR and I'm enrolled for uni next year for a BSocSci, it is never too late to study if you make the time and can pay for it.

I've another 6 months at least before I leave for somewhere so I intend to take my time with gathering information. There's a wealth of info on the net and it's just fabulous that you guys are so generous with sharing your experiences.

Okay now, group hug..

I'd much rather live in Lombok than in Bali, if there was a school there.....

There isn't much to do in Surabaya, so you'd want to get out of town a bit. Bali's not exactly just down the road, so you'd need to fly. It's well positioned to get flights to Bali and Lombok though.

I always recommend Bandung as a place to live and work, so yeah I think I'll do so again now. Smile

Really? Wow, I had no idea. I'll have to look into that. Thanks for the heads up.
