Did I tell you that last year we were booked to spend winter holiday there and I was denied entry. Seems the travel agent fully dropped the ball there. Got right back on the same aircraft to Taipei, the flight crew did a double take and I thought I was going to have a double anything, but I didn't. They actually refunded a portion of that coin for 3 tickets. Ended up spending 10 days at Kenting Park in southern Taiwan, just happened to be one of the coolest seasons on record. It was the big guy's way of telling me that we had been on too many vacations, comes a time when you get tired of being a tourist and seek the relaxation of your own home and bed.

Denied entry? Why? Did you not get a visa beforehand?
Tickets are not cheap. We weren't going to go either except we realized we could use our air miles to go (read: FREE). Even our 4 yr old has enough points to fly for free (tells you someting there doesn't it).
