Miyazaki is right.... for Canadians that is, a diploma is more than enough to teach and OBTAIN a work permit. Yes it�s possible. Yes there are lots of jobs there, yes this info is right. You do NOT need a degree, that is absolutely WRONG!!!! If you are Canadian and your wondering what�s going on this is a great place to start...

It takes a little patience to speak to a person� but they will be more than happy to tell you THE TRUTH� after all that is their job�

For those people out there spouting off their crap about "NEEDING" a degree, you should call them too, then figure it out and stop misinforming people. When I first came on this site I read those posts and believed them, I was going to go work over their illegally anyway and didn�t really care, in the midst of getting my visas ready I did some homework and found out you are wrong!!!!

Stop telling people stuff that is incorrect!!!!!

And this thread is a bunch of crap, you all sound like a bunch of educated babies trying to outdo the other one..

and in my neck of the woods, educated people who like to sport their papers like their better than everyone.... well, I�m sure you can figure it out....and yes.. I�m a redneck�. And edumacated one to um haw� so to those buddies who feel their better than the rest because you�re educated, with take that paper and shove up your� @ss, your not impressing anyone!!!!!!!

So there (as I pull your hair and pinch you while dodging your spit...... I made it to the top of the monkey bars... its off limits... teacher teacher.....he's picking on me......)

And in Canada a diploma is 2 years... a certificate is 1.....degree 4, a master depends on the studies 5-7 for science....and so on...)

Snowalker it might be best if we concentrate this discussion in a single thread. I suggest that we concentrate on the one in which I have posted the relevant legislation as surely even you can accept that visas and work permits are issued based upon the legislation, not based upon what you or I may think or hear from others.

As far as your comments about us considering that degree holders are better than others, well that was never suggested, and I think that this may be your own paranoia. This whole discussion is based upon what exactly are the minimum educational requirements required by the government of Taiwan not the considerations of the members here at Daves.
