Or you could apply to the Petroleum Institute one of the supposedly more desirable jobs in the UAE as far as pay and allowances go .... a staff member has just been 'asked to leave' as it was recently discovered after almost 5 years that he had 'no' qualifications not even a first degree...so who says there's no chance with no degree....although it is now getting a little bit harder as all these local institutions try to gain legitimacy by getting accreditated from abroad ( mostly fromUS) and hence the few are rumbled !!!!

I do suspect there is a bit of sarcasm there... don't waste your time OP. The chance of your getting a job with any decent employer with no credentials or related experience in the Gulf is slim or none.

Ah, but newbies are often literal and miss our little sorties into humor. Didn't want them to be led astray.

Greetings,
Any ideas? Lords of tutoring experience in UK, ages 18 to 60
Vocatianal and accessment qualifications, TEFL used to dealing with people of all abilities. Three yeas degree studying English but no result. Will any agency take me seriously if I contacted them from abroad, have they cornered the market on the net?
Does networking exist in these countries? How can I take this position forward from here?
Suggestions humbly and graciously accepted

Its sad the lords of tutoring experience can't help you here. No, seriously, I have been applying all around the middle east region and they all want degrees and experience. The competition is steep it seems for the oil bucks! |
