Of course not! That was roughly half but I was too busy and like I said it wouldn`t/won`t get me a visa. However if you want a low stress life and/or you are involved in some other worthy pursuit you can easily live on it and if you had no other jobs you could do more. I have one friend who had a spouse visa who had about 20 students as his income for a year and a half but he got sick of it. Mainly however it is a supplement I think.
