I am afraid to file charges as his friends will come after me. That is why I think to have him deported is the easiest way. Someone else already made a complaint with immigration a while ago but i want to do the same to be sure he is out of here.

YOu better hope they have a Witness Protection program in Japan but i wouldnt hold my breath. I would move as far away as possible, if I were you. Maybe like Kyushu or Hokkaido.

Thanks Paul, I was not, though I would have been had I slipped up again. I was in a city jail, not far from Fuchu. Fuchu is a prison and I befriended a gangster on his way there for a 14 year stretch, heard loads of stories about it too, you don't want to go there.

How did you avoid deportation? I thought that foreigners were always deported on being released from jail in Japan.

When did you meet this gangster? Presumably not in jail, aren't jails in Japan segregated?

Something about this story doesn't seem to ring true.

Soba you are really too much, so annoying. Was just thinking about your posts as I was walking to the office, so negative.
Anyway, if you must know, I was deported. And I did meet the gangster in jail. The last thing he said to me when I came by his cell to say good-bye was, "See again." Not at Fuchu, I hope.

Have a good day,

Men and women are kept in separate jails, but to my knowledge foreigners are kept in the same prison population as Japanese nationals.

I never jest (as well you know), and don't call me Shirley.
