okay...i did that

i've never been to China so i have a lot of Q's. Turkey is so small and there are so few schools...China is so big and there is such variation between salaries and schools and what not.

Does anyone know of GEVU? There's an opening in Shanghai.

Also, in your opinion, for someone new coming to China, is it best to start in a huge place like Beijing? I know what an open-ended question that is..

I certainly don't want to go out to a small town in the country yet...like İ said, i need my tobacco and coffee. Etc.

Can one live reasonable well on 5000RMB? The details of the job=salary I can handle figuring out...but i don't want to get there and be starving and dirt poor.

You guys here in China are very helpful. Thanks.
