Eva ... who's the guy in your avatar? (forgive my ignorance if he's really famous). He's royally hot... too young for me, but still brightened my day! Cool

His name is Leslie Cheung. He's a legend of Hong Kong cinema and music. He passed away on April 1, 2003 at age 46.

That picture was taken in the early 90's I believe. And yes, Leslie left us far too young, he committed suicide.

There is a lot of good information about Leslie here.

My blog is hard to describe but if Tevye did LSD with Sonny Liston on a sheep farm somewhere west of Perth the result may be very similar. Or it may not be. Hard to describe, like I said.

Ive finally got round to checking out everyones blogs and I reckon I like guanghos the best. It was certainly the strangest. Smile

Mines still http://www.thealexlife.blospot.com - now with added zombies!

I recently started a blog about a teachers life in Argentina (er, that would be me, obviously) and I was wondering if anybody else here has a blog? Id be very interested in seeing how other teachers lives compare to mine (and to get a few hits on my site in return, of course Smile )

So my (guaranteed free of domestic animals) site is www.thealexlife.blogspot.com . Whats yours?

One word of warning is that if you do write about your job, you MUST keep it a secret from your boss and colleagues. This is especially true if you are in any way critical of them.

If you are in a small environment you will undoubtedly give away clues to your identity but DENY DENY DENY

And I speak from experience.

Oh dear, Oh dear!

What have you done?
You are blocked on my server - banished along with other more famous dissident elements in the Chinese conformist democracy

However, my proxy allowed you to appear.
Nice one!!

I dunno.....
Not being a potbellied alcoholic who hasn't showered since the Reagan years ended and not looking to shack up with a girl half my size and age I couldn't really relate to most waigooks there.

Yes - 'maz has a great blog - with a couple of years' worth of entries. She's funny as hell and has a great take on life. Not that she needs or wants the plug, I just think she's a wonderful storyteller... Thanks for going public! I'll check out some of the others here, too!

Oh dear! You too appear not to be in favour with our leaders.
Again I have to use a proxy to access you. But on reading it I can't uinderstand why you have offended the powers that be. There's nothing about China in it. But you querying the absolute correctness of officialdom - that might be the reason.
Or is it "blogspot.com"?
btw. would you be having all this residence trouble if you were married to your girlfriend?
