Thanks OJJ, you are very kind.
Were you and the little lady at the rave together?
Reason I ask is bacause we met under similar circumstances,
in '99, I believe, summer of love and all. Outdoors, mind you.
All the best,

no she was at home. She likes to go out but by 3:00a.m. she is ready to go home and I knew I'd want to stay till 6:00 with my friend. I am glad she didn't because if she had she would have been drinking. |

Mmm-hmmm...I see. Forgive me for asking and please tell me if I am out of line here but have you all been together long and have you already tied the knot? |

No, it should be: Your life (as you know it) is over. The best part is just getting started. |

I see why you asked, I never said in this thread if we were married or not, so to answer your question, yes. We have been together for over 5 years, married for about 9 months. |

Well, good on you mate. You are well on your way to the joy of fatherhood and enjoy the time leading up to it.
All the best,

All three of my children are water babies, born in a special bath for natural child birth.
Japan is a great country for mid-wive assisted births. You have a choice of water or bed. Also, you can bring your own music.
My ex wanted Mozart with Dolphin chatter in the background. Don't ask me why.
At the Mid-wife hospital, you are not rushed out, like the cattle ranch versions. She had her own room, organic meals, and I was allowed to stay the night as well.
I witnessed all three births, and even cut the cord, which is papa's responsibility symbolizing the "welcoming to earth" sort of thing, although of course the mothers do most of the work.
If you have not checked it out, look into mid-wives.
The fee is the same as you would pay at a conventional hospital: 300,000 yen, AND you get it all back.
Also, don't forget to head to the ward office, and get your ichi man a month for about 1 year as assistance for the new born.
Japan is great for the birthing of children. |

Couldn't agree more. Our first child was born in a horrible hospital under induced labor, cattle-ranch style. No flowers allowed in the room and no fathers allowed in delivery, if you can believe that.
No, this time we will be calling the shots, this time we are having a home-birth with a mid-wife, maybe in the bath and definitely with music.
Come on, baby! |

Hehehe, I love that! Sounds like Ms. James Brown!
Anyways, good to hear you changed styles.
Believe me when I say this; it is so much better!
You can set the ambiance with lighting, music, scents. Water babies are fun too.
Cheers to you. |

Ours is a midwife hospital, a 5 min walk from our house. They don't do the water births, but several other choices-sitting,squatting, and others. We can play music. I just asked if we can play the beastie boys but it seems she isn't going for it. Found out the other day it will be a girl! yea |
