I work at a sister campus of the school in question. The OP went off his meds and started having paranoid delusions. There was no 'crime' committed. |

Is anyone on this forum working at UMAR right now? How difficult is it to get a job there? Is a BA enough to get a job teaching English? I taught English to Japanese students in Japan, taught Japanese to English students at my alma mater, and also have a double major in INternational AFfairs and Japanese. My husband is Mexican and I have learned Spanish by default - meaning I seem to have a knack for language. Can anyone give me advice on how to go about working at UMAR (presumably without getting killed, haha) or have any connections there? Please respond!!! Gracias! |

you didn't mention a TESL/CELTA cert in your qualifications. Do you have one? I work in the same system as UMAR and if the rules are like they are here, you won't get hired at UMAR without a TESL certificate of some sort.
