Raising an not-so-old thread...
I moved from Korea to Japan and I am amazed I can not send a text message from Docomo to Softbank phones.
I mean, in Korea with KTF, SK, LG telecom you can normally send texts back and forth and people communicate more with text messaging (even if its limited in length) than voice. I have sent hunderds of texts per month.
Here, I can send only to Docomo users which is not very usefull to me. So basically, sending an email from one phone to another works? But, if I get someone's digits then how can I send an email, since its not <number>@provider.jp anymore for spam reasons as on telecom provider's pages. This makes no sense.....its 2007 but cross-provider messaging does not work like in US, Europe or other parts of Asia. |
