Wood does have a point about resumes and cover letters in Taiwan. I don't know that I agree with him bringing it up in the way that he did, however. The internet is a relaxed genre where most people don't produce their most polished writing. I don't think it's a good idea to get on other posters for their typos and errors here as if they are indicative of their real life styles/ short-comings. If you do, you'd better make sure your own writing here is flawless at all times. It's an extension of the don't throw stones from your glass house ethos. I think in the case of the "Punctuation/Pronunciation" boo-boo, it's pretty clear wood got 3wned.

Hey Mick,

I have been receiving a lot of feed back from locals and veterans on where to go. I am sorry that you make a post and instead of getting feed back you get posts that talk about CV's. This web page was the most helpful for me: http://www.taiwanfun.com/north/taipei/index.htm They have reviews and such. It seems that an old pub Busibans would be a great start. (I hope that my miss spelling of the pub and poor use of grammar within this paragraph, won't spark another 10 useless posts for you! Sorry vets, I am just giving you a hard time.). Cheers and good luck. I will be leaving Friday myself for Taipei.
